For the competitive horses and riders, the day of the show or event brings a mix of excitement and anxiety. The days are often long and many hours can be spent just for one great, 5 minute ride under the judge’s eye. We all hope for the ideal when the horses truly ‘turn on’ in the ring and are relaxed outside of it. Regardless of the results, the bond between horse and rider continues to grow stronger.
